At Daybed.shop, we want you to love your furniture. We do not want to add to your distractions, which is why, if you’re not happy with your purchase, you have a no-hassle return policy in the UK. (30-day returns under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013).


1. Returns Window

  • 30-Day Returns: Return most items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund or exchange.
  • Faulty/Damaged Items: Please report any defects or damage within 48 hours after you have received your item for faster resolution.

2. Return Conditions

In order to qualify for a refund or exchange:

  • Unused & Unassembled: Items should be in their original state, with tags and packaging.
  • Order Confirmation: Show your order number or receipt.
  • Large items: Sofas, beds and large tables need to be disassembled then repackaged securely.

3. How to Initiate a Return

  • Get in Touch: Email support@daybed.shop your order number and reason for return.
  • Return Authorization: We’ll include a returns label and directions.
  • Ship Back: Use the label we provide or self-ship (we recommend insured tracking).

4. Refund Processing

  • Timeline: Refunds will be issued within 5 business days of the returned item arriving back.
  • Deductions:
  • Return Policy: 15% restocking fee on large furniture returns (for handling)
  • Return Shipping: Customer is responsible unless item is defective/damaged.

5. Exceptions

  • Custom Orders: Made-to-order items (e.g., custom-sized beds) are final sale.
  • Mattresses: Can’t return unless defective for hygiene reasons.
  • Clearance Items: Sale items marked as “Final Sale” are not eligible for return.

6. Damaged or Defective Items

  • Report Immediately: Email photos/videos of damage to support@daybed.shop within 48 hours.
  • Resolution: We’ll schedule a free pickup and provide a replacement, repair or full refund.

7. Return Shipping

  • UK Mainland: Prepaid label or self-ship.
  • Northern Ireland/Highlands/Islands Return Cost Details: Please contact us for return cost estimates.

8. Non-Returnable Items

  • Assembled furniture (unless defective).
  • Items damaged due to misuse or improper assembly.
